About the club

Established in the late 1960s, this sports club originated from the vision of Carmine Domenico Rizzo, a prominent builder in Bologna. Initially designed to serve residents of the surrounding neighborhood with two tennis courts, the facility quickly became a community hub for tennis enthusiasts. Over time, it evolved into the Circolo Tennis Po-Adige, an amateur sports association dedicated to promoting and supporting tennis activities. The club honors the legacy of its founder by maintaining a tennis school named after him, fostering the sport's growth and encouraging players of all levels to engage in training, matches, and tournaments within a welcoming environment.
