Where to Play Padel in Marbella: The 2026 Guide to the Best Clubs

Marbella is the cradle of European padel. Here are the best clubs in 2026, from Los Naranjos and NAC to budget municipal courts, plus the popular clubs just outside town that most people think are in Marbella.

Marbella is famous for 320+ sunny days a year, long beaches, fine dining and golf. So many golf courses, in fact, that the Costa del Sol is often called the Costa del Golf.

What fewer people know is that Marbella is also where padel arrived in Europe. The continent's first padel court was built at the Marbella Club on the Golden Mile, which is why the city is often called "La Cuna del Pádel", the cradle of padel. The original court is long gone, but today Marbella and the towns around it have some of the best padel clubs in Spain, from large dedicated padel centres to classic tennis clubs with a few courts on the side.

Where the history started

The closest you can get to the original court today is Puente Romano, the luxury resort next to the Marbella Club. Its tennis club, with the famous centre court, has hosted major tennis tournaments and World Padel Tour events, and still offers padel. Combine a match with lunch or drinks at the resort and you have a very Marbella afternoon.

The most popular padel clubs in Marbella

Los Naranjos Padel Club Next to the iconic Los Naranjos golf course in Nueva Andalucía, this long-awaited project has quickly become one of the most talked-about clubs on the coast. With 18 courts it is the largest padel club in Andalusia, and probably one of the most luxurious. Expect a busy, social atmosphere, especially in the evenings.

NAC - Nueva Alcántara Club In San Pedro de Alcántara, a town that is part of the Marbella municipality, you will find NAC. It has been voted the best padel club in the world at the PadelSpain World Padel Awards three years in a row, most recently in 2025. It is easy to see why: plenty of courts, a restaurant, a bistro, pétanque and a luxury gym, The IO.

Manolo Santana Racquets Club A Marbella classic named after the Spanish tennis legend, with both tennis and padel. A good choice if you want a traditional club feel.

Club de Pádel Los Granados Staying near Puerto Banús? This small club is within walking distance, with a few good courts and a snack bar for a drink after the match.

Marbella also has a long-standing institution in the Real Club de Padel, today best known for its large gym and wide range of activities.

Tennis clubs with padel courts

Most tennis clubs in Marbella also have padel courts, often in beautiful green settings:

Padel on a budget

Marbella has padel for every budget. For the cheapest prices, try the municipal sports centres (polideportivos). Our favourite is Polideportivo Paco Cantos, with views over the city and a friendly bar. Clubs with fewer tourists and international players also tend to be cheaper than the big-name venues.

Is it really Marbella? The clubs just outside town

Here is something many visitors don't realise: a lot of the "Marbella" clubs people talk about are not in Marbella at all.

The Marbella municipality includes Marbella town, Nueva Andalucía, Puerto Banús and San Pedro de Alcántara. But drive a few minutes west, past Guadalmina, and you are in Estepona, in areas like Atalaya, Isdabe, Cancelada and El Paraíso. Head into the hills and you are in Benahavís. Go east past Cabopino and you reach Calahonda, which belongs to Mijas.

Locals and visitors still say "Marbella" about all of it, and since the distances are short, it doesn't really matter where you stay. These are some of the most popular clubs just outside Marbella:

CAP Racket Club Right between Marbella and Estepona, in Atalaya-Isdabe. Even though the address doesn't say so, it belongs to Estepona. One of the most popular clubs in the area, and only a short drive from San Pedro and Puerto Banús.

Villapadierna Padel Club Close to the Villa Padierna resort, between Marbella and Estepona. A great choice if you are staying west of San Pedro.

Club de Pádel Alhambra del Golf In the Guadalmina and Casasola area, just across the municipal border from San Pedro de Alcántara.

In Benahavís, you'll also find Los Arqueros Racquet Club, a quiet option in the hills.

More padel on the Costa del Sol

Padel isn't limited to Marbella. Heading west towards Estepona and Gibraltar, or east through Mijas and Fuengirola towards Málaga, you'll find great clubs all along the coast.

Find and book a court in one search

Marbella's clubs use many different booking systems, so finding a free court can mean checking several apps. CourtBrain shows availability from across those systems in one place, then sends you to the club's own booking page to book.
